Questions we love
Serious questions deserve serious answers. Silly ones deserve even better ones.
Good to know: our answers are general information. For medical, legal, financial or safety decisions, please talk to a qualified professional. And never eat a plant or mushroom based only on our identification.
Or ask the old way
Not every question needs a researched answer. Sometimes you just want to see what the sticks, the cards or the stars have to say.
Fortune Sticks
Shake out a stick, throw the moon blocks, and let a temple keeper tell you what it means.
Scribble Tarot
78 cards we drew ourselves, one wobbly line at a time.
Purple Star Chart
Your twelve palaces and fourteen main stars, explained in plain words.
Draw a Saying
A hundred lines from the Bible, the Analects and the Tao Te Ching.
Why we build with Claude
Dario Amodei, who leads Anthropic, calls this moment a rite of passage for humanity. In The Adolescence of Technology, he argues that powerful AI is arriving fast, and the real test is whether our judgment can grow up as quickly as our tools. His answer is neither fear nor hype. It’s steady, careful work.
We think a lot of that test is quiet and ordinary. It happens when someone asks a chatbot about a strange fruit or a strange symptom, and has to decide whether to believe what comes back. That moment is our whole business.
About us
Shaotouken is a small team in Taiwan, still in beta. We started it because life keeps leaving strange things on our doorstep: a fruit that fell from nowhere, a cloud in a suspicious shape, and a dream that follows us around all morning like a stray cat.
Any chatbot can hand you an answer. What we want to give you is something slower: the patience of someone who reads your whole email twice, the curiosity of someone who treats a sidewalk fruit like a small universe, and the warmth of a reply that sounds like a friend stayed up thinking about you.
Answers are cheap now. Being taken seriously is not.

FAQ
Is it free?
Yes, while we are in beta. If that changes, we’ll say so clearly on this page before it applies to anyone.
What languages do you support?
Write in the language you’re comfortable with, and tell us which language you’d like the reply in.
Can I visit or mail something to you?
We work entirely online and don’t accept visits or postal mail. Email is the only way to reach us.
What happens to my email?
We use it only to answer your question. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.
Are there questions you won’t answer?
Yes. We don’t help with anything harmful or illegal, and we don’t give professional medical, legal or financial advice. See our Terms of Use.
Answers are everywhere. People who’ll think it through with you are not.
Answers used to take days to arrive. Now AI hands them over in a second. We’d still rather read your one letter, slowly.
